LG IrisAccess™ 3000 - Iris Recognition System

The LG IrisAccess™ 3000 Iris Recognition System is a highly advanced biometric solution utilizing iris identification technology. More absolute than your fingerprint or other biometrics, an iris is unique to every individual. The IrisAccess™ 3000 is quickly becoming the preferred biometric solution. IrisAccess™ 3000is the most accurate, stable and powerful biometric system available. The non-contact optical unit, captures, processes and verifies the iris image in about one second. The IrisAccess™ 3000 is designed to operate as an Access Control System without the need for access cards or personal identification numbers. The system's Identification Control Unit (ICU) provides the necessary programmed outputs for connection to your electronic door locks. IrisAccess™ 3000 is also designed to interface with any card access system using the industry standard Wiegand protocol. This allows you to use IrisAccess™ 3000 for high security applications where an existing card access system is already installed.

Characteristics of the LG IrisAccess™ 3000

Harmless
Acquiring your iris image through the optical units is completely safe. Capturing the iris image is just like taking a picture. The level of radiance from 2 IR LED in the optical units meets the US and European eye safety standard.

Convenient Operation
You just enroll your iris for registration and recognition. The identification process can be preformed perfectly, regardless of wearing eyeglasses, most sunglasses, or soft contact lenses.

Non-contact
The iris image can be fully captured with the distance of 3" - 10" from the optical units, which is non-intrusive.

Accuracy
Iris recognition is based on the most mathematically unique biometric - the iris of the eye. The human iris is unique, even between twins or an individual's right and left eyes. A number of objective tests and evaluations over the last eight years have identified iris recognition technology as the most accurate biometric.

Strengthening of Your Current Security
If you have already installed an access control system, an additional installation of the IrisAccess™ 3000 will prevent existing flaws of the current security system and offer you much higher security.

Scalability
LG IrisAccess™ 3000 can handle sizeable database entries and there is not any negative impact on the accuracy as the database size increases.

Speedy Identification
Identification can be made within 1 to 2 seconds.
